While substantial progress has been made in increasing access to clean drinking water and sanitation, billions of people—mostly in rural areas—still lack these basic services.
During this webinar, we will be focusing on the targets of the Sustainable Development Goal no 6 (SDG6) on clean water and sanitation:

- Dr. Marloes Mul, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. Marloes will present their work on the relationship between remote sensing, water accounting and the SDGs.
- Dr. Deborah Chapman, Ambassador/Former Director UNEP GEMS/Water Capacity Development Centre, University College Cork, Ireland. will be presenting their works on global water quality monitoring
- Mr. Mustapha Iderawumi, Industry Analyst at Space in Africa, Nigeria. Mustapha will present 'Space for SGD 6: An Overview of global initiatives'.
